New Blackberry owner, I had a palm treo before. Palm's desktop seemed a lot more user friendly to from the beginning. Anyway, my issue is that I can't seem to find how to put pictures from my computer to my Blackberry. I have everything connected, and I couldn't "drag and drop" like I assume you do.

When I do drag and drop, I get the conversion message attached in the screen shot. I have clicked all three and neither would actually copy pics.

I tried to put audio on the BB, the only way I found was to rip from a CD to the desktop, then sync the two, but upon syncing, it said the device didn't have enough memory.

Is there a way to add audio from my computer also? I'd like some custom ring tones, and since the BB didn't come with a camera, I'd like to send pics from my comp. to my contacts. So far I've just had to email myself the pics, then save them on my phone, which sucks.


Any help would be appreciated!

do you have a media card installed in the device? also the world edition is actually the 8830, NOT the 8330. Which device do you have?

As far as the audio, you need a media card. I thought a card came with your device.

Damn, guess I'm lesdixic! I have the 8830 World. I was unaware of an audio or media card, if that's what I need. It sounds ridiculous that you spend this much on a phone and you have to buy more just to put pictures on it. Hell the free razor has a camera and can accept images out of the box. Hopefully I don't need to get anything else and it's just a software issue that I am unfamiliar with.

Not knocking the BB, I like it a lot. Just sounds like it might have some setbacks.
