Long story short.

I worked for a company where I had BES. I left. They pushed a proprietary security patch to the 7100g. I was unable to remove it. The only way to remove it was to either connect the handheld to the BES (not going to happen) or to do an Enterprise Activation and push me the default image.

My wife works for the company so he set me up as her and pushed not only the default image but also my wife's folders and data.

Got the message services to work after I reloaded everything but it shows all of my wife's email folders. Any way to fix that?

Have you tried a security wipe to remove all appication data and user data?

Reload the Firmware without getting a new policy again;
On Desktop Manager:
Options => email Profile Settings => [check "prompt for the profile to be used"] [OK]
Close and re-open Desktop Manager, when prompted for a profile click Cancel
Desktop Manager should show Not Logged In in the status bar

Run the Application Loader and select all your chosen software to load => Next
[Advanced] be sure to tell it not to perform a back up and to Erase all application data and Erase all currently installed applications => Next => [Finish]

As the Blackberry is not associated with an e-mail profile when you do this, you should no longer have the security policy on it.

OR just;
Settings => Options => Security => (wheel)Wipe Handheld

Then DO NOT connect it to an account logged in to your company's exchange server or you may get it back again.

Yikes, then I would loose everything else, right?

You can make a back up and once this is done do a select reinstall from the backup of the application data.
