Many here recommend 4.2 SP2 because a lot of people have problems with 4.3.

When you say 'it does nothing' what do you mean? What are you doing and what do you see happening?

Well I downloaded the software from blackberry.com just v.4.2 and then when I try to install it, it goes for a little bit and just stays the same, like nothing happens, its not frozen, but just dosnt download anymore.

I assume you are downloading on your PC?

It's been so long since in installed Desktop Manager, I don't recall if there were pauses. You apparently aren't seeing an error. How long have you waited?

By the way, get the SP2 version of 4.2.

The wait is endless untill I actually cancel it. I'm gonna download the sp 2 and keep you posted.

I DL'd it recently, Mine sat for quite a while, then finally finished it. Seemed to be some issue with the roxio stuff I was thinking.... I'm not a fan of them at all, so I would expect Roxio to be crap...
