Issues with TXT & IM on Blackberry 8830 World Edition

Has anyone every encountered issues with:
1. TEXT MSG: My phone alerts me that a text has come over, I see it and then it disappears
2. BLACKBERRY MESSENGER: My phone alerst that i have a new IM but I cant see what the person typed as a response.

I have to keep taking my battery out and put back in for it to work. Please help if you have any suggestions.

Sounds like you have a memory issue.... as in no available memory....
