Question 8700c Keyboard AutoLock Software ?

Please Login to Remove!

BB Users,

About 3 months ago (in February 2008), when I first got my 8700c I joined this forum, and saw posts about a piece of software that would lock your phone within seconds after completing a call.

I would now like to have this functionality, but cannot find anything posted about this software (after a 45 minute search).

Can anyone help with this ?

I'm using the side convenience key to lock the phone most of the time... but ocassionally forget, and end up dialing recently called numbers (or emergency services) ... which is extremely embarrasing.

Looking for a solution,
Thanks for your attention,
Fredster.

I don't know about the 8700c... I don't see a note about 8700s or OS 4.1 devices in that thread. But you could Private Message the guy that wrote it, in that thread and ask. I just don't know offhand.

For safety sake, always do a backup to the PC using Desktop Manager before loading applications.

Worked like a charm ....

I backed up first, as per your suggestion ... really, it's first time I used the BB desktop messenger software ... so I've learned quite a lot today ... thanks,

Have a great day,
F'ster.
