Default Phone interface help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I've got a problem with my Sprint 8830 that I was hoping someone could help me with. Essentially, whenever I go to the Phone screen (hitting the green phone button), I see a list of recently dialed and received phone calls. At this point, if I type in an address (say, a name "Doug") I expect the phone log to disappear and be replaced by a lookup in my address book. However, instead of that happening, the log stays in place and the lookup happens on the bottom of the screen (to be accurate, below the screen, but I can see the top of it).

Obviously, this is not desired behavior because I can't really see the phone name that I'm typing in.

This only started happening after I reset my BlackBerry by typing in my password incorrectly several times and subsequently connecting with my new employer's BES server.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
PB

Wirelessly posted (At&t curve)

Have you tried a simple battery pull?

Good idea, that worked.

Though to be honest, I do frequently pull the battery out.
