8830 thinks it's a modem, I insist that it is not hey, I am trying to use DM to update my 8830, load a new OS and add in a couple applications. However, when I try to do that it says that my Blackberry is using an active dial up connection, and to close that connection before I can do the update. Now, I have never used the thing as a modem, ever. I usually connect it via bluetooth to the DM once a week to do a backup, but other than that, that's it. I've even tried disabling bluetooth support for syncing altogether, and it still thinks it's a modem right now. I can find no traces of a Dial up network connection anywhere on my windows machine, running XP SP3. Any ideas? |
hmmm, I fixed it on my own. Had to go into my BES and clear the in-cradle flag, then it seemed to work. |
