General Options missing - help
 

I am brand new to this forum and to Blackberry. I cannot adjust the volume of my ring tone or even change my ring tone because there is no "General Options" under the "Options" menu. Can anyone help? Thks!

You want to Press the GREEN dialing key, which will take to the phone dialer screen/recent call log. At that point, click Menu > Options > General Options > Default Call Volume.

Also look at your Profiles > scroll down to Advanced > and edit your active profile > edit each alert both IN and OUT of holster.

It is under Profiles > Advanced and choose the profile to change.

i am brand new to this also and am having the same problem with missing the general options menu when i know others that are also on the sprint network and their curve still has the general options menu...is there a reason why some of ours are not there any longer when others it has yet to "disappear"?

Did you go into the Phone application first?

yes i still cannot find it...should i call sprint and have them reboot my phone?

If you are talking about the main Options Icon in the application list. Are you sure that it wasn't moved into a sub-folder? Go through and open all folders and see if it's hiding in one.
