Wiping the memory should have no effect on how to install VZNavigator. Is your 8830 activated on the VZ network?

well it is activated, wiping the memory did have an effect because in one of the steps it tells you to go to your browser and go to your bookmarks. And since I dont have any bookmarks i cant go to them

Call verizon - I'm not sure you can "just" download vznavigator - I think you have to sign up for it when using a BB.
