Cool Account exists for PIN: RESET?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8830 that was from a friend and when I try to delete his email accounts or even set mine up is says: An account already exists for this PIN. How can I get his off and mine on?

Get your friend of his carrier to remove or release the PIN from his old account.

Have your Friend call the carrier and ask that the PIN be released.

Read the FAQ "Buying a used BB from eBay". Even though you didn't buy it there, the same things apply.

Basically, your benefactor needs to call his carrier and cancel their BIS account so the PIN and IMEI can be released for you to use.
