I've used Audacity to make an MP3 loud enough to hear as a ring tone, and loaded it onto my BB, solving one problem with my 8830WE. Unfortunately, the ring tone, although it is a 15-30sec song long, only plays for about 4 seconds and then repeats itself. How can I get it to play for a longer time? Or can I? Thanks for your collective experience and wisdom.

Also, make sure your ringtone is under 512KB, sometimes that will affect it.

Thank you I just changed it to 30sec and the Song is 23secs long at 273.8KB. We will see if it works tomm when someone calls me.

Well no cigar I still am getting a 2 sec ring then silent then ringtone starts again??
