I am upgrading to a 8310 and need to transfer all my contacts to that phone. Is there an easy way to do this? I am not on a server. Sorry if this has been answered before, i could not find anything, also any comments on switching from 8700 to 8310 wuold be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just use the Switch Device Wizard included in Desktop Manager.

I used the process that John Clark describes above, but the other way around (8310 to 8700) and it worked magnificently. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work for you. It was very seamless.
