Please Login to Remove!

Hey, does anyone know the speed rate of a Verizon 8830 in terms of kb/sec?
Just curious if I needed to download a 1mb file, how long will it take? Thanks!

You should get around 400kbps.
A 1mb file should take about a minute or so to download (taking network congestion and other factors into consideration.)

EVDO Rev 0 and Rev A average 400 to 800 kbps with a max of 1.2 mbps (Rev 0) and 2.4 mbps (Rev A). However, your actual speed will vary due to the connection, device memory and processor, your distance to the tower, voice and data congestion at the tower and other factors.
