It seems fairly easy to file SMS messages (sms saved messages folder) - but I can not retrieve them. When I view Folder all I see is the SMS Inbox and Outbox. What am I missing?

Your SMS limit per message is set by your carrier, and is commonly set to 160.

Can the 8700 tell you if you already typing a second message as per example my old nokia 3250 use to tell me you are sending a second text message which means you have to pay 2 message.

yes it will... at least mine at the time on TMo would. It would count down the characters from 160 down as you typed, and show 1/6 on the first message, 2/6 for the second messages, etc.

That might vary carrier. You will need to test it yourself.

So your carrier Claro might allow one SMS, at 918 characters.

You probably need to call them and ask.
