I wonder if anyone could help me with this. I have been searching and reading about it for a couple of days, but I can not find any solution to my problem. I have tried 5 attempts unsuccessfully. I got this BB 8700g off eBay. I switched it on and there is a message said "Wiseman". Whatever button I press, it says "Handheld is locked" I would be most grateful, how can I unlock my handheld? I don't mind about any network that I am with as long as I can call out but I only get same message "Handheld is locked" and ask for "Password" I don't have.

Is it possible Wiseman is the password?

Also if you enter the PW 10 times incorrectly, it will reset the device and you can enter a new password.

Thank you for your kind helps. I have tried "Wiseman" without success, before. I have read FAQ and I shall try the link, and try to use up pw 10 times. Fingers crossed.
