Default No RingTones/Walls Via Cable??

Please Login to Remove!

let me see if i get it right??

There is no way via USB to pass rings/walls to the 8700g BB.

I just installed and there is no Media Manager Icon. I am confused. I have read several post and always are passing through another phone via bluetooth.

Something like if there is no MediaCard no transfer are allowed.

I have DM 4.3 updated....

Why is this??? if it isn't via Bluetooth i can't do it???

Thanks
HeLL

I'm not aware of passing through USB cable but bluetooth you should be able to pass.

Search the forum and/or the web for
How to completely remove Desktop Manager
and
How to completely remove Roxio Media Manager
you must follow the steps for clearing out the registry entries
if you try to cut corners there will be residual code left by Roxio/Sonics big footprint
and you will not get Desktop Manager with Media Manager working.

I have an 8700g and I can transfer wallpapers and ringtones via USB cable to my phone from the DM. I use DM version 4.2 sp2 with media manager. and I also have the handheld OS installed on my PC, but I don't know if that is a necessary step for the transferring of files.

Uninstall DM 4.3 and install DM 4.2 sp2 with media manager. See if that works for you.....

I have a 8703e (yes, I know that its not a 8700g) and I can transfer wallpapers and ringtones (via USB) through Media Manager w/ Desktop Manager v4.3.0.15.

Have you checked to see if there is an OS update for your particular model?

Default ok

what i believe is that if you have a card slot then you can use Roxio Media Manager.

Never mind i upgrade my OS and everything works fine with my dongle Bluetooth, now i can send files.
Thanks Anyway........
