HELP NEEDED!!! Locked AT&T 8820
 

HELP NEEDED!! My AT&T 8820 is locked and I am unable to connect to other carrier. I am currenttly residing in Malaysia. Through recommendation from a friend, I purchased the unlock MEP Code but after a few days I received this reply "With regret we are unable to furnish your request. The IMEI given is not available in Blackberry database".. How do i solve this? Does anyone have AT&T Blackberry support email address? Pls help.. I need my Blackberry. Thanks

If you go on to the AT&T website and email them explaining your situation that you would like to use your phone in another country that does not have AT&T theyxxx8217;ll provide you with your unlock code with instructions. Your best bet is play dumb. Thatxxx8217;s what I did and I got the unlock code for my BlackBerry 8800. I believe the rule is, if you have been with them for longer than 6 months and you are in good standing theyxxx8217;ll unlock it for you. Try it and see what happens.

they *might* provide you with unlock codes. if they do not HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, Canada’s Cellular Repair Center ß will.
