I'm now having trouble installing desktop manager on Xp. I don't know why this is happening. I have never had this issue before kand it is really troubling me that I can't get this to run.

Also is there a way to transfer files via bluetooth from 8700 to 8700?

1. what exactly is the issue your having?

2. simply go to the file you want to transfer, hit menu, "send via bluetooth", but before you hit send open media player on the other and hit menu, "recieve via bluetooth"

I can only find the file under the sounds>edit. Where else would they be?

if you open media player, hit menu>explore it should let you see all the files you have loaded on your device/memory card. It wont show you system files or apps, just things like docs, mp3's, pics, etc

Does the 8700 have media player?

BT data is enabled on OS 4.2.

Well now I have an issue again and this is with the desktop software. I went to run the CD to install it on a different computer well I got a runtime error.

Now I get ..... The wizard has been interrupted before BB Software could completely install.
Your system has not been modified. To complete installation another time, please run set-up again.

What is causing this? When I first put the CD in to run it I got a ....

1607 runtime error!

Don't know. Please help.
