I'm currently using At&t and I'm switching to T-mobile service, I want to use my Blackberry 8800 world edition with t-mobile. Is there any way that this can be done.

Yes, follow these instructions:

Good luck.

With an 8800, yes. However, usually "World Editions" are 8830's in the 88xx family.

Your profile does say 8800 so I will assume you are not talking about a World Edition.

I assumed it was the world edition that's what I was told when I purchased it some time ago.

The 8800 is not the "World Edition" as was marketed by Verizon and Sprint. That was the 8830.

If you salesman at AT&T told you that, he'd been listening to too many Verizon commercials.
