spent most of yesterday searching the forum finding some of the answers i was looking for! but still a little unclear on some!

sorry if they are out there but i have missed them incase they are repeated questions!!

okay so i have downloaded the blackberry desktop manager with the audio package and my phone is on the Orange network as a Pay As You Go mobile,

I found out yesterday that you cant have a blackberry to its full potential as PAYG so currently using as a phone organiser, (came over from a P910i)
my question is how IF its possible doi you transfer pictures and tones over to the phone from the computer without emailing them to your self??
ideally i would like ot be able to put a few pics of my lil' Girl on there!

With the older devices you are somewhat limited. You *might* be able to use Roxio media manager, that came on the CD with your device, to transfer media, but its not likely. Usually you have to email to yourself or download from a website.

As long as your device has OS version 4.2 and you install the Desktop Manager v4.2 sp2 with media manager, you should be able to transfer your images and ringtones via the usb cable from PC to BB. I do it all the time

according to the phone i have version 4.10.319 and i have installed version 4.3 of the dewsktop manager with media manager, (htought the newer the better would be the best way to go!)

so effectively does this mean i need to upgrade the firmware on the phone to V4.2 for it to be able to accept images etc??

if so, some pointers and Guidance would be Very gratefully recieved!
