Afternoon people

I have a Blackberry 8820 and it is set up with BIS and everything works fine, apart from one query I have to ask you guys.

When the phone was originally turned on it had one envelope icon for SMS text messages. I then set up the BIS email on the phone and I now have two icons (the email one with the globe), however if I receive an email or a sms text message then both folders get the red unread icon above them, and if I go into the SMS envelope I find that all SMS messages and emails are combined in the same folder. My question is, is this normal and if possible can this be changed?

Yes it can be changed

Go into main message icon (where they are combined) press menu go to options>general options>sms email boxes and set to seperate
