Default How to turn off PTT??

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a 8820 (upgraded from 8800) and I have a blue icon on my home screen that is for the PTT app.

I want to turn this off but can't figure out how to do it. Is there any way other than removing the app from my device?

Basically - I'm trying to maximize my memory by shutting down and erasing all non-essentials. Also, it seems much slower than my 8800 which didn't have the PTT.

You can't turn it "off" so to speak, but you can remove the application from your BB.
See the first post here for directions:

Also, you might want to update your profile here... 7250 on Verizon.
