Hi all,
I've had an 8820 for a couple weeks now and about 2 weeks ago it started freezing up about once a day. This happens when I'm not using it. It can be in its holster or attached to my PC charging via the USB cord.

No buttons respond. The only way I can get it to work again is to pull the battery and re-insert it. Any thoughts? I called AT&T tech support and they had no idea what to do other than return it under warranty exchange.

Is this normal? My old Treo 650 rarely (maybe once a month) froze up. Thanks in advance for your replies!

I'm not familiar with the issue in particular, but you shouldn't have to do that many battery pulls to resolve the issue. You could try reinstalling/upgrading the OS. Otherwise, if you've had it for such a short period why not just make arrangements to get a replacement?

Yeah it may be buggy just get a new one. Mass production can make this happen time to time.
