Default A Few Issuse.. Help

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, New user here and not too techy, is that a word?
I have a few issues I need some help with.

1. I want my email to look like email. The links are a long drawn out url instead of the one word links like on my desktop. Pretty annoying. And while were on email, how do you get the ""deleivery confirmation" messages to stop every time I send an email from my Blackberry?

2. Browsing. It seems like some web sites get stuck in the middle of loading and I get the bilinking hourglass on and off for a long time. It slows up my blackberry and sometimes it won't go away for a while. Finaly it does its own reset and wipes out all my old emails and phone log??? I dont get it. And the're not un common websites either. Fandango, last night for example.

3. Finally... Where do I get some good Applications from?? 3rd party or not.

Thanks. I have more, but that's for another day.

1. Wait for the release of OS 4.5, or purchase a 3rd party app like BB Smart email viewer, and in messages hit the menu key>options>email settings and for each account select confirm delivery and confirm read to no

2. You may be low on memory. Go to options>status and post what is next to file free.

3. There is an aftermarket software section here, and mobile.blackberry.com is good.

That is a little on the low side, its best to keep it about 10-12 MB. A battery pull (with the power ON, wait 30 secs, replace batt) should get some some back, but also if you have a media card make sure all your pics and music files are on that, not the device, or check this FAQ out.

How do I free up memory on my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

Also, in the browser, hit menu>options>browser config and check the box next to "Terminate slow running scripts"

I don't see that option. I have

Support Java
Allow Java Popups
Support html Tables
Foregroud colors
Background images
Embedded media
Style sheete

Ant they are all checked... should they be? Maybe that's only an option in 4.5? I am running 4.2.2
