Default Syncing 8830 w/ Win98

Please Login to Remove!

I have a client that is Running XP work and and syncing to it. He has Win98 on his old home laptop (I wouldn't install Win2K or XP on it). He wants to sync his BB8830 with his home computer.

I see that some of the old BB Desktop software is compatible with Win98, but cant find a USB driver to that will recognize the phone.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You may be put of luck for Win98SE to recognize your BB. You *may* get it to be recognized as a USB device only with the SD card inserted using generic SD-card drivers for Win98 found on the net.

It's always a pain to mix old and new technology.

Win98 prior to the SE (Second Edition) didn't even have proper USB support. Best of luck.
