I am running 4.5.0.52 on an 8820

I have a pdf attached to an email that I am trying to view. I am able to save it, and view it by using the messages app. However after saving it, I assumed I could delete the original email. After deleting I went to Media so I could access files, and I attempted to open. It then give me an "Unable to open file type"

Is there anyway to open pdf's after saving them? or you can only do it by going through the original message?

I posted this earlier on the general forum, but i think it may be more appropriate here (didnt have any responses yet)
