Default Connecting to Desktop

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,
I used the Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.1 to attempt installing a test application that I developed in Java. The BB device is 7100g.
The problem is that ever since the installation of the test app completed (assuming it really did) the BB device is showing the message "Connecting to Desktop...".
It allows me to shutdown the device but the message doesn't go even after a restart.
Also the Desktop Manager hangs a brief moment after it starts up.
I tried leaving Desktop Manager and my device alone for a long while to allow them to connect but that doesn't seem to work.

I need to get the device working on a priority and then successfully test my app on it.
Please help urgently !!

Thanks in advance.

Default Solution.

Age-old technique !!
Shutdown. Remove the battery. Put it back. Start up.
Thats how I got the device working.
Dunno why the software didn't work.

Downloading a simulator might be a better choice for java developing.

To get your device back to the factory defaults "normal state" i would recommend the following article for further assistance.. support.themessagecenter.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticl eid=7&nav=0,4,8
