HEEEELLP !!

I have updated my 8800 to with Desktop Software 4.5 to firmware version 4.5.0.55 and the update process failed with the message "blah blah ... an unexpected error occured. Retry"



The Blackberry boots up at with this error (see screenshot).

I don't know what to do, the BB Desktop Software does not see the device anymore.
What is to do to get the 8800 working again? Lowlevel format?
Is there a way to reinitializate the device with the firmware?
(send it back to support is not an option ;) )

Please help!!

What is a lowlevel format?

Reboot both PC and BB (remove the battery while powered on, replace and reboot) and try the Desktop Manager connection again. See if it isees the BB now.
