Default Voicemail icon stuck on!

Please Login to Remove!

My colleague has had his 8700f for several years and has told me that he has a problem where the 'VoiceMail' icon is always on.

Apparantly our network provider (Orange UK) has told him that this is a known problem with the 8700f, but I am not convinced as I had the same problem on my Orange mobile some years back.

I am 99% sure that this is a network problem and nothing can be done on the BB itself, but I thought I would ask.

Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know of a solution?

Jon

Tried all those thing but no joy.

If I put his sim in my mobile, then there is no VoiceMail icon.. But if I put his SIM in my BB (And visa versa), then my Blackberry has the icon and his doesn't.

So this means that its following the SIM rather than the BB!

Orange have already stated that this is a known bug on the BB but I am not so sure..

I don't know what to suggest now!
