hello everyone,

i have a Nextel BB 7100i, i am tryin to connect to an IRC server, and have bought the program call BBirc 1.0 and installed it on my BB - when i try to connect to the IRC server it says this :

***Error trying to connect to IRC server, aborting.. Exception Could not find a service book entry IPPP

i have messed around with it for hours lastngiht and even call nextel BB support they said it was not on there end on why the 3rd party software would not connect, i spent almost 3hrs on the phone lastnight with Nextel and still am Unable to connect to my IRC server is there ne one that is able to help me

ok, well just for you knwo the program dont work with the 7100i BBirc
i have installed other IRC opt like jmIRC is program werks well took me a little bit to figure how to load a a .jad file but i got it

for 7100i and lookin for an IRC program look at jmIRC

the only thing i cant fiure out with the jmIRC is how to toggle the channels i dont see an Opt for that - thanks
