Hello fellow blackberry users...

I am new to the site and am hoping to both provide and gain some value from the forum. I start off my first question in regards to the new Voice Notes Recorder software provided as a part of the v4.5 O/S upgrade. Upon multiple attempts, I cannot seem to correctly save the recorded file. I can record something for approx 10-15 seconds, and see it as being saved to my media card. However, the detail states that it is 0.00 in durations and errors out when I attempt to play it. This occurs whether I try to execute it through the voice notes recorder software or through my media card.

Anybody else run into this problem? Any help is much appreciated...thank you.

Hey All...

I figured out what my problem was. The files were being saved onto the media card which was read protected. And upon performing my upgrade, the media card was not accessable as it did not recognize it as the original devise (I had protected my media card with password and device options selected). I had to re-formatt the media card (yes...erasing all data on it as well) in order for the media card to be able to read it. Now the software works. Just FYI in case anyone else runs into this problem.
