How do you actually add people on the balckberry messenger via the PIN..because when i start entering numbers it just doesnt work.

And some people have numbers on thier PIN and others have names

In BlackBerry messenger, click Add Contact, then at the top of the contacts list click Add Once and then type in the PIN.

you've just said exactely what I said, i know how to add people. The numbers is too much for the space provided

I don't get it. The device PIN is 8 characters long. Always.

I didnt know that, because many people on here have different character PINS or did they just type it for fun like yours?

Hint: Put your friends PIN in your address book and then use it from there.

Ah, yeah many people put other things in the PIN field besides a real PIN.

Some people type in fake PIN numbers here cuz they don't want every Tom, Joey, or John to PIN them.

They are always 8 characters - some a mix of letters and numbers, some just all numbers. None are ever all letters.
