| 8830 Problems Cannot Connect to Desktop Please Login to Remove! Hello
Yesterday I began to receive software errors when trying to start my 8830. I called Technical Support and all they were able to do was walk me through trying to reinstall my OS. That did not work simply because I cannot get the BB to boot up and therefore, it will not connect to the desktop. I have tried multiple usb ports and other cables same problem.
I have downloaded and installed JL_Cmder and performed the wipe. I did not receive any error messages, however, I am getting a white screen with a circle going through a keyboard with the number 507 below the keyboard.
After running the wipe on JL_Cmder I went to the Desktop Manager (most recent version) and tried to perform the application loader. I am showing a pin number, however, I am still getting the message that I am unable to connect. I believe that will be able to correct my problem if I can just connect to the desktop. When I plug in the usb I get the audible noise like it is connecting but I am still showing disconnected.
I would really appreciate any help.
