Default need help with BB messenger on Fido

i spoke with 3 fido ppl today and they tell me they no longer offer BB connect service
is this so, even tho they still have this up fido.blackberry.com

i just want to be able to use bb messenger

anyone can tell me what i should do , do i take a 30$ data plan or i can just go with the $7 unlimited browsing plan?

You MUST have a BB data plan. Since Fido didn't offer that, they had the BB Connect plan. If they no longer offer that, then you are out of luck. No BB Messenger. The TCP connection (fido.blackberry.com) will NOT work for BBMessenger.
