I have an 8700g and recently bought a second. Both being run on tmobile. The latest one I bought seems to have issues holding the network. A lot of times my original 8700 will show a full signal and the one I just added will show "searching for signal" then show "no signal".at times it will show a signal for a short amount of time,usually a weak one. I've swapped SIM cards and the issue is not the card. It is specific to the one 8700 so, is it fair to assume it is hardware related? I bought the problem unit used on-line and am unable to return. Any ideas about what I can do to try and fix the problem would be greatly appreciated. Assuming it requires repair is there any national chains that do them? Again, I am totally lost on what to do and will gladly accept any suggestions. Thanks so muchm

Try upgrading the OS on the seemingly bad 8700. If that doesn't reolve the issue, then it's probably a hardware problem.
