Default How to quickly scroll through messages

Please Login to Remove!

How do I scroll through messages quickly? I have over 5,000 text messages and sometimes I scroll through a week or two earlier in messages and then quickly want to go back to my current new ones, but have to scroll for almost 5 minutes to get there. Is there a way to scroll quickly?

Wirelessly posted

Try holding down the alt while rolling the tracks cursor in the direction you want to go

Wirelessly posted (By Super Blackberry)

While in a message you can also press p for previous and n for next and the space bar will page down, also b will take you to the bottom.

Or simply press the "Space" to scroll down and "cap + space" for the reverse.

You really need to check out Stinsondog's FAQ on this forum. You'll see tips such as - when your cursor is on a date rather than a message in the message list, 'p' goes to the previous day. 'T' takes you to the top, 'b' takes you to the bottom. Space goes down a page at a time, shift-space goes up a page at a time. There are many more keyboard shortcuts you'll want to know about…
