I really would like to know how can I take a picture from my comp and put it on my blackberry 1700t. What software do I need to download? I only have like Blackberry Desktop Manager and "handheld manager" but when I click it, nothing happens.

You can email a pic to your BB.

When you open the email with the picture on it you should have the option to "save attachment." Once you save it you should have it available as a wallpaper. Be warned, however, that the 7100 series had limited memory and pictures can eat up free memory rather quickly. And when Blackberrys get low on free memory they can start acting wonky.

Do you have a Blackberry Data Plan on your account? You need a data plan in order to email the photo to yourself. Without a data plan, there's not much you can do.

Well it's not my blackberry,it's my brothers so I'll have to ask him but I seriously doubt it.
Is there anyway to get around the data plan? ;D

There was a 3rd party application that supposedly did it. However, it's pretty old and I don't even remember the name of it. The non media capable BB's are beginning to be obsolete so I'm not even sure the software still exists.

Someone will hopefully recall what the software was....anyone?
