Hi I have a 8800 but i don´t know whay my brother has done with it becouse now the blackberry has a password for locked keyboard, i don`t know the password and my brother also doesnt know it, What i can do to unlock the keyboard without the password?

another question, i want to unlock the blackberry to use with another carrier which solutions I have? I know about special codes from internet pages and the other is using a i-smart sim, does the i-smart work well?

You need to have a long long talk with your brother.

Power off the BB, do 75 jumping jacks and then try powering it back on

All joking aside, you're cooked!! If you don't mind losing any data, just put in a wrong password 10 times and this should wipe the BB...and unlock it in the process.

That will not unlock the BB for use on another network per the the question.

However, I doubt the whole story also. Sounds like a "found" BB.

It should be true for the 2nd para only...

There is no solution. You will lose all data each time you enter pw wrong 10x. If it is a corporate BES BlackBerry, it will continue to lock.
