Default New drivers for XP Sp3

Please Login to Remove!

Anybody know when the new drivers will be available for sp3 upgrade? I still can't charge my BB through my computer USB port because it causes the blue screen of death on my laptop. I could find nothing on Google or BB website indicating the status.

I hadn't heard that sp3 required different drivers...sp3 is mostly sp2 with all the updates already included.

Is this a problem I've missed? This is the first I've heard of this. Did you try removing Desktop Manager and reinstalling it?

sorry, a bit more explanation was probably in order. the problem on my end has not been consistent as of yet... it only happens "sometimes". in software, i call it the "bug" that just pisses me off It happened to me earlier tonight when i connected by BB, but i just ran another test and it didn't happen under the exact conditions.

only other thought here, it did happen to me with a USB memory stick the other day... i am wondering if it's USB across the board?

What if you remove all the USB drivers in Device Manager and then reboot the computer and let it reload the drivers. I'm just grasping at straws, though.

go to your systems manufacturer and download the latest BIOS and drivers. if you built your computer yourself, go to your individual motherboard and components manufacturers.

Thanks for your suggestions; the tech here has tried everything. There is a discussion on the "official" BB forum on this problem: "BSoD when I connect my BB Curve (recently updated to Windows XP Service Pack 3)." Sorry but this forum doesn't allow me to attach links until I have 10 posts. I'm surprised no one here has experienced it yet.
