Receiving Images
 

Hi all.

Got a newby question. I'm not receiving images. I've been sent some pics to my Blackberry 8800. I've been informed that they've been sent, but there's no indiction of receiving them on the phone. I've got no clues why.

Any help appreciated.

Are they being sent via Email or MMS? Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?

I think they're being sent by MMS. What do you mean by 'data plan'? The phone receives email and can access websites. Is that clearer?

If your device is currently receiving data, in your case, email... Then that rules out the possibility of something on your account being jacked up... unless you had something on your account blocking MMS/SMS altogether. Your best bet would be to go into your local store and have them review your account. Who is your carrier?

Optus is the carrier. That was my first port of call. I rang them ( or a call centre in the Philipines) and they said it was the phone.

Hmm, thats definitely strange i'm a rep with Att in the states and i would say its definitely something on the account side if a customer was having an issue like that... However if they are so sure its the device GREAT go into one of thier local shops and have them swap it out for ya.
