Default Removeable Drive?

Please Login to Remove!

Usually, when you plug in a cell phone it would show up as a removeable disk such as (G:, F:, E:, etc..) and so on, but with a 8700r, does it act the same as other phones?
Because I plugged in my phone to my computer this afternoon and I didn't see any removeable disk's in my explorer.. So I'm wondering if I have to have a software for me to beable to add some pictures as my wallpaper.

Did you load the DM onto your PC. And I'm not sure if that BB will act as an extra drive.

Its Desktop Manager. I'm mobile right now. Just check the Faqs at the top of the page for where to download it.

That only occurs with BlackBerrys that have microSD memory cards. The 8700 does not have a memory card. It will never appear as a disk drive.

You can access the internal memory through Desktop Manager's media manager.

Even when there's no micro SD in the BB it still shows up in Windows explorer as a removable disk.

i dont have a MICROSD card, remember 8700 has no Card Slot.

So "Even when there's no micro SD in the BB it still shows up in Windows explorer as a removable disk." this does not work for me!!!

I didn't realize you were quoting me in that post. I thought you meant it doesn't work to load files.
