Default BES sync Problem (8830)

Sorry for the noobie question...

I have been using a 8830 (sprint) for a few months without problems. I use BES through my university. During a recent vacation the bb would not work well because of poor coverage; but it would occasionally find emails. I could add calendar items as well. Now that I have returned, it has stopped functioning at all. I send an email from the bb to myself, it does not arrive. I change a calendar item on the bb and it does not change when I access my calendar via webmail. The last emails on the bb arrived yesterday afternoon. I have new email, which have not pushed through.

I have plenty of space: 12452030 bytes.
I have taken the battery out and let sit for 30 minutes.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a trip to the IT department at the University tomorrow will solve that problem
