I've noticed that whenenver I try to install any new applications on my 8800, by default it gets saved and installed on the phone memory. The same is true even if I use the Desktop manager.

Is there any way, where I could set the default memory as the media card ? Kinda confused, please help

No, can't do, no reason to be confused.

Apps only install to the device memory.

So, that means, there is a limit to the kind of applications that can be installed......hmm... difficult choice I guess.........

I've never had a limit, other than self-imposed. I have about 25 third party apps loaded now. Just keep your device mem about 15+MB free.
