hey all... i have a 8830 and was jsut wondering if it was possible to connect to the internet on my phone without using Telus's Data

i know there is no wifi built into the 8830 so is there any other way?

and this phone is stupid you fools, from the terrible gps to the false advertising to the slow ass response times when doing almost anything on the phone to the the no wifi... this phone is the worst investment i have evermade, i am thinking about about shorting something out on it so i have a reason to go back to the curve or get a bold

My, for a newbie you have honed your skills at making friends and influencing people. FYI you will run into the same problems with a Curve or Bold. You need the data plan. That is the issue.

He probably bought his 8830 to be like the "new ganstas" or celebs that all seem to be sporting Blackberrys. Probably should have stuck with his SideKick instead of all over the forums, winning friends, and influencing people.

To the OP, I don't understand why you think its a stupid phone, the device you has is flawless, you just need to learn how to use it... If you remove all the un-needed programs and languages then the "slow"ness with stop. As for the GPS, that's not the phones fault, that's Telus for you not blackberry or RIM. If you want wifi, you need to leave telus and go to Rogers then as I don't thinkg telus will ever get ANY device(BB) with wifi... You have lots to learn, and calling the phone stupid, is just plain immature... You should have done your research before buying then. K I'm done, wow that was more civilize then what I had in my head lol
