Hi

I have a Blackberry 7290 T Mobile. I try to install a software and got crashed. Now it is displaying "Device Error : 400" error message.
When I try to connect the bb with USB it is not recognize. I try to wipe with :Javaloader" and "JL_Cmder".
I have the "Device Manager", JDK 1.5" and "Handheld" softwares in my machine.

Please...can someone giude me to get rid of this problem. I was surfing nearly 7 hrs to fix this.

Thanks.....

You should be able to use JL_CMDER (or the DOS based Javaloader) to wipe the BB out totally (resulting in a "507" - which means no OS loaded).

Then try this - What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck and welcome.

Thanks for the reply NJ. Even I did not mentioned what you request to do in my previous post, I tried that also. The only problem I had was bb is not connecting to the pc due to the device error. Anyway if you have more solutions regading this please post. So that someone will need them.
What I did was I tried to reset the error nearly 20 times and it worked. But sometimes still it gives above error. So I have an idea to wipe the OS and reinstall it.
I bought this from ebay. I'm in Sri Lanka (GSM 900/1800 ). They said it was unlocked and working in any GSM network.
What they mean by Unlock? Do I have to unlock again if I reinstall it?

you needn't re-unlock again,i inistalled a thm and got the same problem yesterday, restart has no use,so i run C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe wiped the os,then it works. ur bb has works,so back your address or other things befor you wipe it or you'll lost ur adresses etc.
