Default 7100i BlackBerry Handheld Software

Please Login to Remove!

Hello you all, I wanted to update my BB with the latest OS out there, I read somewhere that a 4.2 OS was available but I could not find it anywhere, I found this one and it looks like it is the newest version out there:

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.1.0.560 (Multilanguage)
Package Version: 4.1.0.560
Consisting of:
* Applications: 4.1.0.382
* Software Platform: 2.1.1.52

I hope this helps someone, and if anyone knows of a newer version please post or send me a PM, I just download it last night and Iím thinking on installing it later today, will post my review later this week, have a nice one everybody and god bless all.

I think that's the latest version. The 7100i is pretty old.

It is pretty old, but Nextel only has two iDen phones, the 7100i and the 7520, and since I use a lot the walki talki feature it is my only option, I read that sprint is going to release a new BB iDen Device, rumors say it is based on the BB Curve design, I canxxx8217;t wait to flush my 7100i down the toilet. In the meanwhile I will work with what I have.

Is there a link to that new software for the 7100? I need it, because when I put 4.1 on my 71xx I can no longer send out text messages. No SMS or MMS. please help. I actually have a 7105t from t-mobile. They had me reinstall but no luck.

Default MMS Fix on iDEN

Try resending you service books to your device from the BIS webpage nextel.blackberry.com
If that doesn't work, go to "Options-->Advanced Options-->Service Book" and click on each one and delete it.
You won't be able to delete the Provisioning one.
Then resend the service books back. They should all repopulate OTA including the one for MMS.

Please note that the person who asked (6 weeks ago) about MMS is on T-Mobile and not Nextel.. They have a 7105t from T-Mobile.

Default OS for 7100i

Does anyone have the site where I can get the software for the 7100i? It doesn't have to be the latest, just one that will make it work.

Will you be getting e-mail from a work e-mail address (as opposed to a person e-mail address)?

Put down the BlackBerry and step away. Back up slowly, don't run, and don't turn your back on it.

All kidding aside, Enterprise Activation is only if you're connecting to a corporate BES system at work. Home users need a BIS BlackBerry Data Plan. Stands for BlackBerry Internet Service. Once you have the Nextel BlackBerry Plan active on your account you will get the option to set it up without Enterprise Email.
