Unhappy 8830 Title Page

Please Login to Remove!

My Title Page (Homepage) used to show the email account name and outstanding number of emails, now it just shows the icon and no name.

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums.

I am not exactly sure as to what you are asking. I would start with trying to pull the battery out for 30 seconds (while the device is powered on).

Are you talking about the home screen? If so, what screen are you using?

Wink

the home screen where it states the email accounts listed, set-up. It is'nt the main screen with all functions.

it used to state all email account names and (#) emails but now it just shows an icon? in the full main screen with other function icons, it states the email name and #.

i tried pulling out the battery and eureka it worked!

Thanks so much!!

The battery pull is what you should always try first when the device acts a little strange. It fixes a lot of weird little issues like that.

Glad it worked out for you!

Default Easier than pulling the battery!

Most of the time rebooting your device (or it may be called a soft re-set) will do the same thing as pulling the battery, with much less effort. Press "Alt" (left side) and "shift & delete" (right side) simultaneously. Your screen will go black (and you'll think you've killed it) but then it comes back to your home screen, after a few hour-glass twirls, etc

Perhaps you changed themes? It could be a case of your current theme displaying into differently than your last theme.
