Tonight I went to connect to the desktop and it won't connect for some reason. I have been noticing that when I charge the phone and connect it using the USB cable to the computer that it shows that it's charging for a few seconds and then it stops. I don't know if it has to do with the cable or with the phone itself.

Have you tried a different cable? I would start there.

I have tried 3 different cables and it still will not connect to the desktop. The phone does charge so it makes me believe that there is something wrong with my desktop manager, but I could be wrong.

Have you tried another USB port? or tried to discover the device again options -> connection options ?

Yea, I tired that as well. It shows that it is connected to the computer, the icon appears in my lower right hand corner but it does not see the blackberry in the desktop manager for some reason. I even tired to manual sync it and it still didn't work.

Try reinstalling the BB driver

I reinstalled the Desktop Manager, is that the same thing?
