Default Orange - GPRS Vs WiFi Web Browsing

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

My 8820 on Orange UK gets delivered tomorrow. I've had one previously and had a few problems which I'm hoping you may be able to help with.

The main one was when I browsed the web I vaguely recall having to go into browser settings and having to tell it whether to use GPRS or WiFi for web browsing.

Is it possible to have it simply use WiFi if WiFi is connected or fail over to GPRS if not? I used to have to switch the setting each time and it was a pain in the rear.

Ermmm.... let's see what happens when I get it.

I may have had an old OS on my previous one or possibly a bug.
