I've been trying to figure out a problem with GPS on my phone for a while now, where it takes foreverrrrr to find where I am, even in an open location.

I recently tried wiping the phone, and it worked GREAT for a week or 2, then started acting oddly again.

I also just started using GPSed, and it finds my location almost instantly. But Google Maps takes 2 minutes at the minimum, sometimes forever.

Any ideas?

Are you installed the lastet version of google map?
i had the same problem with an old version (2.0.3), with the new one (2.2.3, i think) it's working fine
